  How do you add a break after writing a line? Simply pressing return does not seem to do the trick, as it will only show an excerpt of the article, the whole text will not appear on a post?

  If I click on the title, it will add the breaks in, but otherwise it will not.

  That’s not a WordPress.com site but a WordPress.org site and you need to be at their forums for support with that version of the software.
