Formatting

Good morning, I have just clicked on my latest post on reader and have noticed that the formatting is not respected: slide show is shown as a stacked series of pics, the same for a tiled gallery. On reader, as featured picture 4 pictures are shown instead of the one inserted. Can you please fix? Thank you in advance for your help. Best A

Ah, that’s the way the Reader currently handles those blocks.
Would you please elaborate on what you mean by “cross-tabulate the statistics”?

It is a shame that Reader does not reflect the formatting one puts in place in Editor blocks. It my view it defeats the purpose of the Editor blocks if things do not look like exactly as one sets them up.
Cross-tabulation: say I have 3 visitors from 3 different countries A, B.C and the viewed posts for the day are as follows: Myblog (3 viewings), Myblog2 (1 viewing), Myblog3 (2 viewings). Is there a way for me to see: A= Myblog (1 viewing), Myblog3 (1 viewing); B= Myblog (1 viewing, Myblog2 (1 viewing); C= Myblog (1 viewing), Myblog3 (1 viewing) instead of the totals?

No, that’s not possible for our stats.

Yes, you’ll see other people’s posts that have those tags.

I’m not sure what you mean by that. For someone to view a site on their Reader they need to follow that site. Here’s how that works:

Following: when I first started writing blogs I was not following anybody nor did I set up tags to view other bloggers’ work, yet I could see blogs on Reader. This means that WordPress set it up for me to begin with. I am happy with that.
Earlier today I went into site followed>manage. I unfollowed 2 but I think one was set up by WordPress because now I can only see posts of bloggers I have started to follow. I would like to remedy that but I do not remember the name to re-instate it.

Hi wmconcierge, the reader has a few different views. Are you referring to the view for a specific tag? If so, you can click a tag to view it, or search for a tag.
Also, did you know you can follow the tags you’re interested in? For example:
https://wordpress.com/tag/dogsNote the “Follow Tag” link in the upper right.
That should fill up your reader a bit if you’ve unfollowed some sites.

Dear Supernova, thank you for your response. When I first set up the account, when I clicked on Reader I would see other people’s blogs. At that time, I had not followed anyone, which means wordpress sets Reader up automatically.
Thank you for informing me about the tags, incidentally I had noticed the option a few days earlier. I thought by identifying tags I would automatically see blogs with those tags in Reader, instead I have to go into each one. Best A -
