formatting for page headers and also for Sharing buttons
-
Hi everyone. I’d greatly appreciate help on two items:
1) Someone else set up my WP site for me and one thing I now want to change is…in the top header where it says ‘Lynn’s NYC Supper Club’…I want that all to go across in one line. Not sure why the ‘club’ is going down onto a second line. Can anyone tell me where I’d go to change that? Is the ‘Lynn’s NYC Supper Club’ text technically inside some type of a ‘column’ that isn’t wide enough to support all the text and if so is there a way to widen that column? If not, is my only other option to try and make the font a bit smaller so that that entire line fits within the column and is not forced onto a second line?
2) I added Sharing Buttons to the bottom of my About, Past Events and Upcoming Events pages. The problem however is that when people share any of these pages, it’s not readily apparent what the shared pages are all about. So on the Share screens it just say ‘About’ or ‘Past Events’ or ‘Upcoming Events’, but without these being prefaced by ‘Lynn’s NYC Supper Club’, then there is no context. I DID temporarily change the titles of each of these Pages to start with ‘Lynn’s NYC Supper Club’, so that then when folks Share any of the pages, the Share info clearly starts with ‘Lynn’s NYC Supper Club’ and then ‘About’ or ‘Upcoming Events’, etc. But the problem with doing that however was that all that extra text then also appears in the Header of each of the pages, resulting in the Header looking all cluttered. I prefer a clean look as the Header currently appears. So my question is, is there a way for me to add the ‘Lynn’s NYC Supper Club’ text so that it prefaces the title of any of my site Pages that folks may want to share
Thank you!!
