formatting for two columns

I write in WOR?D before posting to WordPress. My problem is that WordPress changes my formatting. When I revise my post at the WordPress.com website using ‘draft mode’, the formatting is still changed in the final post. Normally, this is not a problem, but I have a document set up in two columns, and the formatting becomes a problem. Scan my recent post ‘Where is God in Difficult Times?’, and you will see my problem. When I worked in draft, I checked the formatting in the ‘preview’ mode, but the final published version is nothing like the preview version.

As pointed out in the support section, it’s a very bad idea to write your posts in Word and paste them into wordpress.com. Word overloads your text with a lot of garbage html. The wordpress.com editor filters out that garbage.
Just write your text directly in wordpress.com or in a simple text editor.

I spent months creating my text in WORD. I revise my text in wordpress.com, after WordPress has filtered my text, but this does not correct my problems.

The wordpress.com editor removes html that’s isn’t compatible. That’s why your columns are removed.
Text spread over 2 columns is old fashion and is still used in printed text. Used on a website, it’s not user friendly.
