  I want to switch from excerpt mode to full post display on my home page the theme is Ascetica

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I cannot format my posts completely for the home page. I don’t like the excerpt format. I want the reader to see each post in its entirety as they scroll down the page. I am using Ascetica theme.

  Some themes are not designed to display full posts on the front page of the blog. In that case on each and every post you will have to do what follows.

  On a theme that has an active excerpt box below the post editor, you can control the length of the excerpt displayed. This will have to be done on every post. This is the workaround you can use to override excerpt display on the front page.

  When creating a post or page on your WordPress.com blog, you have two editing modes available to you: Visual Editor and Text Editor (HTML).

  You compose your whole post first in the Visual editor and before you publish it you switch to the HTML (Text) editor, copy all the code you find there, paste it into the Excerpt box, and publish the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/#creating-excerpts

  thank you for your help, yet some issues remain.
  first, can you tell me if my theme Ascetica is not designed to display full posts on the front page?
  second, I edited one post as you suggested and then video on my post was missing, just the link showed, which is not like the original.

  You have to be adept enough at coding in the Text HTML editor to cope with such issues. You left out the final ] square bracket in the code.

  Custom excerpts cannot display videos or any other objects that are inserted via a URL or a shortcode.
