Formatting is lost after publishing
-
Well, I truly think that’s the cause of the problem. But if you’ve got the “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML” selected it should prevent the worst of the side effects.
You can see that sometimes you have narrow columns and sometimes wide: this is because you’re copy-pasting in formatting tags from those other sites on the web. To avoid this, click to the Text editor, not the Visual editor, and paste the text in.

I will try all of that but I need to mention again that the last time a removed the pics and reposted it reverted back to the pre update format.
That can’t be caused by some faulty tags from another webpage?

Try making a completely new post this time, rather than editing this one. You wouldn’t believe some of the weirdness that invisible tags can do. Making a whole new post from scratch is tedious but will avoid any crossover of bad tags.

Let us know if it works out for you. I think it will. Since the images are uploaded already, you can just insert from the Media Library.

Sio everything was fine then suddenly the problem resurfaced. My latest post is all messed up. I typed the whole thing in text mode, etc and suddenly today its crushed to one side again.

Ok so when i go into edit mode on the wordpress app then press cancel since im not changing anything it messes up the formatting. I just tested it by looking at my post previous to this one and its formatting is now messed up. The iOS app seems to have something to do with it.
