formatting issue for a blog about coding

  I am writing a blog on coding on scala and html. The formatting of my code has gone bad by addition of multiple amp, lt etc. How can I fix this?

  Is there a limit to size of a blog/webpage in WordPress? I made an observation that as the size of my blog increases, its formatting is getting worse automatically by insertion of random tags .
