Formatting Issues

  Hi there, it seems like the latest update has completely messed with some of my formatting and specifically has thrown my home page off. Photos aren’t lining up properly and columns are now squished together. When I go to edit everything looks normal and I’ve cleared cache and updated all plug-ins, so I’m not sure how to fix the problem. Thanks in advance.

  Update: Blocks aren’t justifying correctly and gallerys don’t have any spacing between them. Will this update fix itself or do I need to go through my entire blog and re-format and adjust things? Incredibly frustrating and worrying!

  Thank you! I think I’ve mostly figured out my home page, but I’m noticing quite a few other pages with issues and not all of them are fixing when I try to correct them.

  We can’t help directly because we don’t host makethetripmatter.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result, we can’t take a closer look at your site.

  Instead your host (Bluehost) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (sometimes called “WordPress.org”) which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com.

  With that said, I did take the time to examine the source code of your site however, and can see it is using the Astra theme. The issue you are referring sounds like a display issue related to your theme, and its compatibility with blocks. We do not offer Astra theme on WordPress.com so we are not familiar with is, but the good news is that help is available directly from the creators of your theme: https://wpastra.com/support/

  The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help. Thanks!
