Formatting issues when posting
-
Every single time I type out a post, and insert photos, especially ones that I have a caption under, it looks perfectly formatted in the editing window, but when I click to save as draft, or publish, half my photos dissapear from my post and the text formatting is totally wonky. Also some of my photos that have captions on them shrink and are so tiny when really the resolution is something like 600 or 700px wide. What the heck is going on? Getting so frustrated that the formatting does not stay the same when I save or publish. Can someone please help?!

If you go here > Settings > Reading and reduce the number of posts on your front page to 1 or 2 I will attempt to help you. At present the page loading time on your blog is excruciating slow because every post has at least one or more huge images in it.

Here’s some advice when it comes to images. Presize all images to exact size specifications required and compress all images before you upload them into your blog. That way no image quality will be post as the cropper will not come into play and as the images are the correct size for the space you intent to place them in the theme will make no adjustments to them

edit: “no image quality will be post”
was meant to be – “no image quality will be lost” -
When you work with captioned images in the visual editor, things can easily get messed up. After you insert a captioned image, make sure you add a line break or a paragraph break.
