Formatting Issues while adding blog to existing website

    Hi there,

I have been going through the forums trying to find the answer to this question and I cant seem to find anything.

I am adding a wordpress blog to an existing website. I followed the instructions to create my own template found here: http://www.idratherbewriting.com/2008/10/23/seamlessly-integrating-a-blog-into-your-non-blog-website/

Using logic I have been able to figure out how to format just about everything (using css.) For some reason, the title and contents of each new post are very narrow (about 150 px) and I can not figure out what is creating this formatting issue. Also, there is a ton of blank space between the content of the post and any image added to the post.

I have gone through every single CSS style in both the original styles.css that controlled the default and the style sheet that is controlling my site (main.css) and I can not figure it out.

If anyone can shed some light on why my blog posts are so skinny, but everything else is the perfect width, I would be very thankful.

Also, I realize there is an issue with the site in IE, so please take a look in FF if you have it :)

    Thanks again
