Formatting issues with IE7
-
I see lots of formatting issues both on wordpress.com while editing my blog and my blog itself (patinaustralia.wordpress.com – note the odd blue bar on the header). Will these be resolved soon? Is the wordpress team aware of these?
-
Friendly reminder that we don’t read minds here. If you’re seeing something wrong, you need to state what it is.
For reference I don’t see a blue bar in the header with my IE7. Care to post a screen capture?
Best bet would be to send in a feedback from your dashboard with specifics if you want.

It looks 100% fine to me in IE6. Are you talking about the blue bar with “Dashboard” etc on it? You’re only seeing that because you’re signed in; you’ll see it on every WP blog and the forums when you’re signed in.

Hey, sorry guys. I switched to a different theme which doesn’t have the blue bar any longer. I shouldn’t have posted without clarifying what I actually see. One thing I see is in the Write Post tab in the blog editing website is that the left edge of the Title and Description text boxes are cut off on the right side by a few pixels. Additionally, on the Upload tab above this area, the right side of the tab extends into the white space below it.
Other problems include opening up the Optional Except pane. It opens up behind the Trackbacks pane and is unusable. I’m sure these are all known issues, but they are a little irritating. I’ll send this as feedback as well.

I’m wondering if your first problem is a factor of your screen resolution? If you send in a Feedback, though, staff will have all that info.

Agreed. Sounds like a screen resolution issue as I don’t see these issues with IE7 at 1280 x 1024.
