Formatting numbered lists

  I’m trying to add in numbered lists to look like the following:

  A. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
  B. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
  C. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  I’ve tried the following in the HTML editor:

  <ol type="A">
  
  <li>Text</li>
  <li>Text</li>
  <li>Text</li>

  It works when I switch to visual editor, but when published on the blog it becomes a numbered list, which won’t work for me.

  I’d really appreciate any help!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That attribute is deprecated. You need this:
  <ol style="list-style-type:upper-alpha;">

  And please paste the URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your username to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

  Interesting.
  No mention that it is deprecated here:
  http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_lists.asp

  curious where you found the info?

  But yes mention here:
  http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_ol_type.asp

  (And it’s a more general thing, to be expected in newer themes. For instance class=”aligncenter;” instead of align=”center”, etc. etc.)
