Formatting on New Composer

    Hi Support,

    The new composer in WordPress is constantly glitchy, and very often will remove most formatting when I open it back up to edit a draft — very frustrating. Also, whenever the formatting of text is changed to italic or bold, an extra space is automatically added either before or after the word — it goes away if you continue typing and then move the cursor manually backward with the arrow keys, or if you backspace, but it’s still cumbersome.

    Hey Matthew,

    If you’re having any trouble with the old editor, and would prefer to edit your drafts in the classic version of the editor, you’re welcome to do that here:

    In the new editor: If you are pasting your text from Word or another word processing application in to your editor, you should paste it into the HTML tab, then switch to the Visual tab to do your editing. That should help with any odd formatting issues you’re having.
