formatting on ‘Professional Gallery’ theme – links are clunky

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, I’m using ‘Professional Gallery’ theme for my website nancylowe.studio. The links are clunky looking as they have a thin outline around the words. I would prefer links show up as simply a different color than regular font, without the outlining. Is there a way for me to change this? Thanks!

  • Hi @sciencecandance, sure; that theme was designed with fancy outlined links as one of its unique features. It’s retired now and I don’t see an option to simply turn that feature off, but you can remove all of that styling if your plan supports additional CSS.

If you’re interested, you can get that here:

Let us know when you’ve got it and we can provide a snippet to remove the button-like link features.

Or, you could take a look at some of the newer themes. Anything with full site editing is highly customizable, though again you’d need the Premium Plan to fully unlock style capabilities. If you’re interested in checking out what’s possible with Site Editing, I’d highly recommend jumping into one of our webinars on site editing, just so you can get a feel for it. Switching themes would be a time investment, but that could give you a better idea of how well it would pay off.
