Formatting plan text to be imported?

Is it possible to format a block of text and import it as posts in WP? I’m asking because I have about five years of site news updates for an older site that were done manully. I sucessfully imported the Blogger posts that I did, but I’d like to have all the news posts that have survived in one system to make archiving easy. But since they were done manually, they’re basicly just plan HTML code, and it’ll take me a really, REALLY long time to import them all by hand.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As you are new here and as you referred to importing posts from Blogger I have some things to share with you.
    (1) In case you have not already done this >Settings > Writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “Save Changes.”
    (2) There is no FTP access to wordpress.com blogs and no plugins. We cannot upload themes. The only themes you can use are located here > Appearance > Themes.
    (3) We cannot access the files for our templates and edit the HTML or PHP in our templates or edit themes. We are all on a wpMU multiuser blogging platform and and there are restrictions with regard to use of embeds, flash, iframes, javascript, etc.

I’m not trying to import Blogger posts. I already did that, and it worked mostly well. I had to connect to it before I could upload the backup file that Blogger gave me, which is odd, but it worked perfectly fine after I did that.

No, what I have is a block of text. Well, lots of blocks of text. I want to know if there’s a way to format them in a file so that they can be upload and converted to posts through one of the WP import functions. I’m going to try the contact page you gave me, just wanted to clarify that. ^_^

I understood that you had already imported your Blogger pots but I rpovided (1) because others have found their imported Blogger content was ‘scrambled”. I also understand what you want to do re: importing the blocks of text. I believe you need to ask for Staff help as I said above. Good luck with this. :)

You might be able to do it if you can put it into an offline blog editor like Windows Live Writer or something. Try that.
