formatting posts, esp with multiple images
-
I am unhappy about the way the layout of my posts doesn’t appear the way I create them. Pictures move around, often overlapping. Text also shifts location. Why is that and how can I fix it?

Please review the instructions in this guide to learn more about the Visual Editor, in which you can format your text and images. You can also use the Gallery feature to include pictures to your blog posts.
Feel free to let us know if you get stuck on formatting specific posts.

This was not helpful as I was already aware of it. The main issue I have is that WordPress moves stuff around that I have not inputted, or deletes blank areas that I have added. My posts look squashed together when I am trying for a design that is more spacious. Please advise.

When working with the Visual editor, things may not always come out as they appear. The big issue is the difference between fonts in the editor vs. fonts on the site, especially when images are adjacent to text. Larger text on the site itself may result in things being more spread out.
To get around this, try a newer theme with an editor stylesheet, so the fonts in the editor are the same as they are on the blog.
