Formatting Problems in IE with Preformatted Text

Built a table using Preformatted Text( <pre> </pre> ) – displays fine in Firefox but in at least some versions of Internet Explorer the text is large and the right part of the text is cut off.

For staff – see the screen shots in the media library – Code-Blue- Firefox – IE

I have IE 9 on my PC – not a clue if it is the right version, and don’t really care since I don’t use it, don’t know which version my friends have (it’s their retirement blog)

Any suggestions other than to convert to PDF and insert with Scribd?

PS: the Pre code adds a paragraph feed with a “shift enter” – that “feature” really sucks

    Hi auxclass,

The current version of IE is IE 11. Could you try updating your version and see if that resolves the issue?

I’d also argue that using preformatted text is not a particularly good or reliable way to build a table, and if you want to use HTML I’d actually recommend table tags.

You could also go the PDF route or save a PDF or other doc as an image/screenshot and upload it to the media library.
