Formatting spaces: <br />
-
Hi
I checked a couple of posts out here but still haven’t got a working answer. I’m currently trying to edit a page which will have a number of mp3 files on it, and all I want to do is have sufficient space between each entry so it doesn’t look confused on the page. I’ve tried inserting the
code but the editor doesn’t seem to recognise it after it’s been saved.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

you can add:
‘<p></p>
<p></p>’to get a couple extra spaces.
larger spaces tend to be a problem:

Thanks for the tip dlager, although it didn’t work for me unfortunately. The problem I have can be seen here:

Basically I would like to put an extra space between each of the music players, but so far the editor doesn’t seem to want to recognise either the
or <p> commands -

Here’s a little hack I use, that’s useful especially for adding spaces inside lines and between them — useful for poets who are really particular about such things. It works if you’re using a template with a white background for posts.
My trick:
(In “view” mode) In the place where you want the space, insert a character like an asterisk. Highlight that character. Then, go to the font color icon in the post toolbar, and choose white. It’s the square in lower right corner. “Save” change to your post.Obviously, if you want more than one space — either inside a line or between lines — do this more than once.
I’ve found that this trick works better than the html code for nonbreaking space, which has a weird way of disappearing on me.
