Formatting text
-
Can somebody help me, please?
I am pathetically attempting to do some very basic formatting to text for my blogs. I thought that I was getting somewhere until today!
http://dickiebodos.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=819&action=edit
Just one sentence, which I tried to format with size, colour, and font, but I think I messed up the order of the commands! e.g. Does font size come before or after colour, etc.
Also, the text was red in the Editor, but appears black in the post.
Any nudge in the right direction for me will be very much appreciated. Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t believe that link works unless we’re signed in to your account. Are you able to copy and paste the code you’re working on?

<p style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”><span style=”color: ff0000;”>For Pete’s sake; CLICK ON THE PIC!</span></span></p>

This gives me red everything including the underline:
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline; color: #ff0000;">For Pete's sake; CLICK ON THE PIC!</span></p> -
For multiple operations on the same text, you put all the stuff in one tag:
<p style="text-align:center;text-decoration:underline;font-weight:bold;color:#ff0000;">For Pete's sake; CLICK ON THE PIC!</p> -

Sorry to be completely stupid, but where, in your example, would I try to insert a text size, please?

<p style="ALL COMMANDS HERE, SEPARATED BY SEMICOLONS, ORDER MAKES NO DIFFERENCE">TEXT HERE</p>
