Formatting text in subscribed email notifications

  I’ve been posting daily Thoughts for the Day in a poetry-like multi-line format rather than blocks of paragraph text. I’ve read the Formatting Poetry support page and I’m comfortable with how my posts appear on my blog, but I notice that the email notifications for subscribers to my blog don’t don’t seem to display line breaks – neither hard returns or soft returns.

  Does anyone have any idea if it’s possible to display line break formatting in the blog subscription email notifications?

  Unfortunately, the email simply displays a post excerpt with all HTML tags stripped out, including line breaks. Currently, there is no way to change this.
