Formatting text in WordPress
-
If I were to copy and past text from another document (Not Word) and paste it into the WordPress, the font does not change into the default WordPress font according to the theme. It stays as the same font as the source.
I have tried altering it; setting it to “paragraph” to no avail.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

In March Staff made changes to the classic editor found at > Dashboard > Posts > Add New> https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/the-paste-as-word-button-has-been-removed-from-the-visual-editor?replies=2
See paste as text icon #5 Visual editor Row 2 http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text
When copying and pasting from WORD all formatting is eliminated. You need to use the Text (HTML) editor to insert the code required for any font changes in posts or pages and to insert formatting.
Refer to (1) below and to :
http://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/You cannot change the font family size or color on any titles in any free hosted WordPress.com blog without a custom design upgrade. That upgrade applies to a single blog and is for a single year.
If you are into fiddling about with font size each and every post you make by using the Text editor (HTML editor) then you can change it in the body text in posts and pages.
These are 3 ways to change fonts on WordPress.com blogs.
(1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the Text ie. HTML editor. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/formatting-text-pt-5/
(2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2
(3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support.
