  THis has happened before and someone there fixed it for me, but I need to know how to fix it myself so I don’t have to keep bothering you. I typed my entry and it shows the paragraphs separated by double-spacing. When I go to the published entry, though, the double-spacing converts to single-space, running the paragaphs together. This only happens sporadically. How can I fix this? My blog URL is http://aliferedesigned.com, and I’m talking about the entry I made just after midnight Saturday night/Sunday morning.   First off, go to settings > writing and make sure that “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” is select (save afterward if it is not). Open that post in the editor. Select everything in the post and from the pulldown at the left end of the lower row of icons, select “paragraph” and then update the post.

  Generally this happens when you copypaste from other sources such as Word directly into the Visual editor. When you need to copypaste, paste into the Text editor.
