Former subsciber no longer wants notifications. Can I delete them myself?

  I have a request from subscriber for ME to delete them from receiving post notifications. How do I do this. They say they have unsubscribed yet they still receive notifications. I told them to simply mark my name as Spam in their email or simply delete, but they don’t seem to “get it.”
