former website canceled like to start another website

former website is canceled (per my request), I would like to start another website (different name of course). How do I do that with out it recognizing me only with the old website? The should NOT be connected in any way.

You can set up a new site directly via the following link:

Would you like to keep the content of your old site? If so, you’ll need to follow the instructions to export the content after creating your new site:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs
You can then fully delete your old site by heading to Tools > Delete Site in its WP Admin:

I registered yesterday for http://www.enchantedgardenofwreaths.com. it said it was available. I took it, paid my $18 year subscription,but it hooked up with my former website which I did not want. I canceled order. Now I am wanting to use http://www.enchantedgardenofwreaths.com, as a new website and now wordpress says it taken. I think it is confused. HELP! I need to speak with someone live!

Hi there.
I can see that you were refunded for enchantedgardenofwreaths.com when you cancelled it yesterday. When a domain’s cancelled, it goes back to our registry and isn’t available for registration straight away. I’ve contacted our registry directly to see if they can restore that domain to our account. I’ll let you know when I hear back from them.
When the domain’s restored to your account, we can add it to enchantedgardenofwreaths.wordpress.com. While we wait on that, feel free to start putting your new site together. :)

Thank you so much! I am getting really confused. All I want is no more “www.mackenziejacobdesigns.com” and just a new website “www.enchantedgardenofwreaths.com” The name of website will be My Enchanted Garden of Gorgeous Wreaths.

We’ll get that sorted for you! It may take a few days for our registry to get back to us on restoring enchantedgardenofwreaths.com but there’s nothing stopping you from setting your site up under enchantedgardenofwreaths.wordpress.com while we wait on that.
To delete your old blog completely, you can also head to Tools > Delete Site in its WP Admin now:

Good news! I’ve heard back from our registry and enchantedgardenofwreaths.com has now been freed up, you’re free to register it again. To register the domain to your now site, head to the Domains page in WordPress.com here:
From that page, select Register a New Domain and follow the screen prompts to register your domain. :) Let me know if you have any questions on that.

Could you please try registering enchantedgardenofwreaths.com, without the www. at the start? Domains can’t be registered with www. here at WordPress.com.
The reason for this is that www. is an old protocol that goes back to the days when everything was under a separate server: www (www.example.com) was the web server, mail (mail.example.com) was the mail server, print (print.example.com) was the print server etc. Nowadays, everything is run order the web server and www. is redundant.
I can understand that the use of www. in web address has become conventional and, for this reason, WordPress.com will still redirect visitors who type it into their browsers to the correct URL i.e. visitors to http://www.enchantedgardenofwreaths.com will be redirected to enchantedgardenofwreaths.com. With this in mind, you can feel free to use either version when handing out your site’s address.
Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you’d like any more information on this.

why does it show “author” Mackenzie Jacob designs and concierge with todays date. That should not be there at all.

I can see that’s an old post that was created on the 10th April. Was this created by accident, possibly? You can choose the option to Trash that post under My Sites > Blog Posts:

when I type on the internet search bar the site: “my enchanted garden of wreaths.com” the above shows up and not my new site. the above I thought was deleted. Where is my “Enchanted Garden of Wreaths” website dba as My Enchanted Garden of Wreaths? I REALLY need to speak with someone LIVE from your company! This is not user friendly. I need help on my administrator page too.

To delete that site, you’ll need to head to Tools > Delete Site in its WP Admin. Here’s a direct link for you:

Please follow the screen prompts to delete your site. You’ll then be sent a confirmation email. You’ll need to click on the link in the email to confirm the deletion.
Similar to the above, you’ll need to head to Tools > Delete Site in the WP Admin to delete your old site:

Once those two sites have been deleted by you, they will no longer appear in your Dashboard.

This is currently listed as your Public Display Name. To change this, you can head to My Profile here:
Change the text under ‘Public Display Name’ on that page and then Save Profile Details.
If you’d also like to change your username, then you can do via your Account Settings here:

Click the Change link next to your username on that page and follow the screen prompts accordingly.
