Formerly active subdomains now only point back to main domain (HELP)

I recently mapped my domain name “deliveranctemple.org” to my new
    Wordpress site at deliverancetemple.wordpress.com

My issue is that formerly active subdomains created in my Godaddy account (where I registered the domain name) no longer work. They simply resolve back at the home page of the WordPress blog.

For example or “donations.deliverancetemple.org” used to redirect folks to our Square site at https://squareup.com/market/deliverance-temple-ministries

Can I use the Domain Management panel to fix this issue or no?

    Thanks! :-)

P.S. This mapping action has also messed up several other subdomains that we have been using, including facebook.deliverancetemple.org and mp3.deliverancetemple.org (our audio message library at Kiwi6).

I have resolved this issue by copying the “A (Host)” records for the subdomains from Godaddy’s DNS Zone File of my domain’s detail page.

I then created new “A” DNS records in the WordPress Domain Manager, using the copied information. For example: “facebook” in the first box then “123.45.67.89” in the second box.

Now, when I type “facebook.deliverancetemple.org” into my browser address bar, it goes directly to our Facebook group page!

I’m so happy I figured this out and now understand that my earlier mistake was in trying to change the CNAME rather than the A record for my previously formed, Godaddy subdomains.

I hope this helps someone else. :-)
