Forum and Chat in pages

    Hi I just made an account here, because it said a blog could be used as a fansite. I want to make it a full-blown fansite, but for that I’d need a forum section on a page and a chat room on another page. Also I’d need to have people be able to sign up to my “site” so they can participate.

    And that’s not going to happen at WordPress.com. You’d need an independently hosted wordpress.org blog.

    you can’t have the features of a forum or a chatroom unless you use external services on the net. you could use a page to function as that but it will have extremely limited features. why not source for a forum / chatroom elsewhere and put the links in your blogroll?
