Forum hotkeys support

  Hi there people,

  I’m not quite sure if this is the place to make such a suggestion, but I’ll give it a go.

  I’ve been helping other folks around WordPress.com forums and I was wondering if there is any possibility in the future to create some hotkeys functionality to properly format the text. For instance, instead of clicking on the strong, em, etc button, I’d be way more efficient in using CTRL/CMD+B or CTRL/CMD+I.

  Thanks for reaching out. Just to double check, are you referring to hotkeys for formatting replies in these forums or on the post/page editor of a site?

  Yes, I am referring at the forum topics in WordPress.com, not the page/post editor as I am aware of that having some hotkeys working.

  No problem! These formatting buttons are the only option at the moment. But I can certainly pass on your idea, so it can be considered for possible future improvements :)
