forum is broken

I have tried to thee times to add a suggestion to the Ideas Forum but each time my entry gets published as ‘CLOSED by Admin 45 yrs ago’, not by me. Why can’t I post my ideas to the forum?
My idea is to add a plugin from https://wordpress.org/plugins/public-post-preview/ that will allow me to share a draft link with a non subscriber. I frequently have 1-time guest authors who are too technically challenged to create a free WP account to preview drafts and this plugin would help a lot!

That is already built into the system – I use it all the time
When in Edit Post – page down a bit and below the text box is a “Request Feedback” option – you can send directly from WordPress.COM or do as I do, get a link and send the link using my regular email
PS – the closed 45 years ago is a “feature” of the forum that has happened a few times in the past – the staff can fix it for your Posts here

Your forum posts were incorrectly marked as spam, which is why they showed up that way. I just unspammed your posts and removed the duplicate posts, so you can see your original post about this here:

Thanks rachelmcr! Was there something I did that make them marked as spam or just an odd system glitch? Thanks so much for clearing it all up. :)

Every once in a while, Akismet (our spam filter) accidentally marks a non-spam post as spam. (Your posts weren’t spam, so it wasn’t something you did.) Akismet learns from its mistakes, though. :)
However, if you find that your comments are being marked as spam elsewhere, like on other people’s blogs, you can contact our Akismet support team about that. They’ll make sure there isn’t a glitch in Akismet that’s making it mark your comments as spam by mistake.
