forum post tests

  There should be some way to test your posts here, such as a forum dedicated to test posts, or a preview option for your posts, or the ability to edit a post for a limited time (like a coupla minutes) after posting it. This would be especially useful when attempting to post code.

  We can have as many free blogs as we want. I have several. Why don’t you get a test blog to do that in? Wouldn’t that suit your purpose?

  We do have a “preview” feature. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-screen/
  Are you referring to a wordpress.COM blog?

  If you are talking about here in these forums, we used to have the ability to edit our posts for 5 minutes, but according to staff, that was abused so they disabled it. We have asked for a preview function in the past, but it has never happened.

  Yeah, I’m talking about posting here in the forums, not on a blog. Bummer about the abused edit function…

  For what it’s worth, I’m one more person advocating for a preview function! :)
