    Please advise how to prevent further links such as –

    from presenting when I google my name Gail Kozlinski on a wordpress forum after I have removed personal reference to all aspects of the blog in question.

    I googled that name and did not see the forum thread appear at all:

    Though your site did come up on page 3:

    Google just shows different results for different people. Since you had been interacting with that forum thread it had a hiring ranking for you and pretty much no ranking for me.

    But the reality is anything publicly posted might get indexed by Google and if anything on that page makes a connection to your name, it might be connected to Google results of your name.

    We will be happy to remove any forum threads that represent a security or personal safety concern, but Google may have cached versions remain up for quite some time after that as well.

    You may prefer to use our contact form to reach help over email, instead of the public forums, if you have concerns about google results such as these.

    Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Removal is not necessary for the link however. I was just curious how it got there that’s all.
