forum spam – unwanted caselmedia pop-up advertising

    No sooner had I noted that cocoment boxes had been added to forum posts than I got an unwanted caselmedia pop-up advertisement. Of course I do not wish to be spammed at any time but being spammed on this forum is really a peeve off.

    I suspect this is some malware on your PC rather than anything in the forum. Run an anti-virus and anti-spyware sweep on your PC.

    My signature files were updated last night and my computer was also scanned. I just scanned my computer again and it came up clean.

    The pop-up appeared right after I clicked the blue box with the little arrows that suddenly appeared when cocomment was added to these forum posts. Perhaps they are not related at all.

    I would check your FF extensions. There is no co-comment or spam here.
