Forum Volunteers Please Take Note To 2 New Support Documents

Hi there!
I would like to take a short moment to update the “Forum Volunteers” that there is 2 new support documents that explain how to change your “Username” and the other support document is about changing your blog to an different “yourblogurl.wordpress.com”

One thing I really would like to see in those docs are any irreversible steps in bold text and repeated several times. :)

I noticed in this screen shot “Change your current username and discard the current account” … does this mean you can now surrender an account we no longer want and give it back to the community? I have a several accounts I wish to ‘discard’ if but do not wish to rename. Can this be done ?

statement 3: states this in the support document
Read the information presented on this page very carefully. Important: You will not be able to change your username back. The old name will be reserved and no one will have access to it. URLs for other services such as Gravatar and IntenseDebate may be affected.

Could I change my current username, same name as my 1st blog, to the name of my second blog? Pornstarbabylon to DarrahFord? All my blogs are under the same email account.
Can I fix my Gravatar profile after changing my username?
If any other accounts are affected by this change, will it fix itself in the future?
I would love the name change but fear what can be destroyed by the change. if it’s just a Gravatar account, I assume that can be fixed. I’m not worried about IntenseDebate because I’ve never heard of it until now. lol
Which other services besides Gravatar and IntenseDebate will be affected?

That’s a great question but unfortunately only staff will be able to answer your question I recommend contacting them directly…
Can I fix my Gravatar profile after changing my username?
I do believe the Gravatar profile is updated automatically… Here is what the support document says about Gravatar IDs

Do you have a funny looking username assigned through Gravatar that starts with g2-* ?
If so, this was made when an imported Gravatar account had an email address not matching an account with WordPress.com. Please login to WordPress.com and then visit http://wordpress.com/wp-changelogin.php to change this username.
If you want your Gravatar account to match your WordPress account name:
Log out of both Gravatar and WordPress.
Log into WordPress with the username you’d like to match your Gravatar account name.
Log into Gravatar with the user info associated with that account.
Add the email associated with that account to your Gravatar account. -
