    hi @alvinscythe,

    you are at the WordPress.com forum, which other forum do you want to go to?

  • Unknown's avatar

    I know, but I am looking for the button to go directly to forums… I actually dont remember how i managed to post this question… this platform doesnt show where to find the forum actually… trust me, there is no buttons to find the forums… either you are lead to it from some unknown process, or you have to directly input /forums to the url… it is so inconvenient! i dont know who designs a website which has forums but makes it difficult to find it…

    hi @alvinscythe,

    oh that way, my excuse’s, at your dashboard if you scroll down at your right you the question mark whit a > arrow, there you can find the forums and support links.

    When you are on your account by clicking on your profile photo you can see the question mark on the right side too.

    Did you see the reply from a member of staff regarding your earlier question?

    hi,

    almost forgotten, everywhere you are at your dashboard except by “MY Home” you can find at the right side the static question mark. :-)

    Hello! I manage a wp website and have recently changed to the template “twenty thirteen”. It’s a work in progress, but we still like it better. One thing I’d like to change is the size of the page names at the top (left). They’re big and compete with the headline.

    http://www.fishofcowlitzcounty.org

    Where can I change the font size for this?

  • Unknown's avatar

    I’m also thinking it may look even better to have the page names deleted from the top of the page.

    Hi @pooustergraphics

    I’m afraid that the site you mentioned (fishofcowlitzcounty.org) is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere; we can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
    https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.

    You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

    Or you can also get support from your hosting provider.

    @alvinscythe,

    I am looking for the button to go directly to forums… I actually dont remember how i managed to post this question… this platform doesnt show where to find the forum actually… trust me, there is no buttons to find the forums…

    I just spent about ten minutes hunting for a link to the forums in the Calypso interface and didn’t find one. I’m not too surprised about that, because hiding and failing to provided links to important features have become hallmarks of WordPress.com interface design in recent years.

    I did find a very roundabout way of getting to the forums via the WordPress.com dashboard. Here it is:

    1. Scroll down to the bottom of any page in the WordPress.com dashboard. In the footer area you’ll find a Help & Support link among other links. Click that link to get to the main Support page.
    2. At the Support page, scroll down to the footer widget area at the bottom of the page. You’ll find a Forums link under the Community heading.

    It is because of runarounds like this that for years I’ve had bookmark links to every significant page in the WP-Admin dashboard.

    I am grateful for responding dearly in this matter that ails me, but I find it intolerable and almost a mockery of the thousands of users who use wordpress not having a section enabled where there are executives 24/7 attending to the thousands of problems that wordpress presents It is unusual, terrible service, this is a joke

    @b328546875,

    Hi. Please start a new thread for the issue you’ve described in your first post above. A new topic for the Support forum can be started here: https://wordpress.com/forums/?new=1.

    You may also start another thread regarding the issue described in your second post, but a better place for that one might be the Ideas forum. A new topic for the Ideas forum may be started here: https://wordpress.com/forums/forum/ideas/?new=1.

    @b328546875,

    You may also find the Spanish-language support forums more convenient. See http://es.forums.wordpress.com.

    Hello,

    I am in quite a conundrum. My personal blog (www.aksharbet.wordpress.com) is linked to an account that I created with my university email address – (email visible only to moderators and staff). I am no longer in university, so this email address no longer exists.

    I last posted on blog roughly a year ago. I want to start posting again – however, when I try to log in, I receive a message that says that I need to check my email and click on a confirmation email – otherwise it won’t allow me to log in.

    I tried to switch my account to my new email address – but I can’t do that because I don’t have any of the three forms of identity that WordPress is asking me to provide.

    How do I regain access to my blog if the email address that I originally set it up with no longer exists??? Help!!!

    You may just copy your support request above and paste it into a new topic. The reason is that this particular thread is about where to find a link to the support forums, and only that.

    yes, i saw it thanks!

    @themagicrobot

    yes i saw it…
    even replying in this forum is not straightforward…
    i am aghast…

    @musicdoc1
    thanks a lot, I found it using your method…
    it is so roundabout… do these people have proper UI engineers?
    or are they not humans?
