Can I get a forum with out using BB?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s a kind of forum. This is a bb forum. It’s forum software that I believe Automattic owns. Of course you can’t put a forum in a WordPress.com blog, but you can link to it.

well, raincoaster, I can explain more. BB is short for BBpress. BBpress is a program partnered with wordpress(hence the suffix “press”) AND IS USED TO MAKE FORUMS, DUHH! sorry about that capitalization thingy. I just tend to have “Caps Lock” on alot. Now back to the point. BB is what was probably used to make this forum, goodness, you didn’t know THAT, did you? Yeah, Now it’s your turn to answer. 1up.

I’m feeling inclined to say something stupid or snappy, but I won’t. But, the question is whether you have a wordpress.COM blog or not. I dont know much about BB except what you said, but maybe this can be done with wordpress.ORG blogs but not .COM blogs. DUH! :P now it’s everyones turn to answer. 1UP!! Ha!

There is a difference between making unhelpful comments, and helping people who ask questions in this forum to find workable solutions

Keep it nice, and if you have something relevant to say about a technical matter, then make your comment.

By the way, we all see that you have not even bothered to link your name to your blog.

Yes, I certainly do know what was used to make this forum. And, like I said, you can make a forum using bb press if you like. Go ahead. If you’re looking for instructions, however, you’re in the technical support forums for WordPress.com blogs, which is the wrong place to look for technical support for bbpress forums.

You can make any kind of forum you want, with or without bbpress. But a forum of any type is not a WordPress.com blog, so we won’t be able to help you with technical support for that. Now go find some forum support forums and knock yourself out.

I’ve totaled 5 blogs that you have! They are senseless is that all but one contain mostly polls and no content, two blogs contain the same polls asking the same questions. Sorry, I tend to be very observant. I guess this doesn’t violate any of the TOS but I just thought I’d mention them :P
