Forward button icon – how to add it to pages?

I want to add a SHARE function for the reader’s twitter/fb/linkedin or email a friend of their choice – and I want to add this to selected pages
I can’t find the email option (icon).
The twitter/fb/linkedin I could find links to my own pages?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like you already have some of the sharing buttons on your posts.
To add others, including the e-mail option, go to settings>sharing. Under “sharing buttons” drag the icons for the services you want to include down into the “enabled services” section.
Under “show buttons on” click the box for posts and pages, and then click “save changes.”
That will put the share buttons on all your posts and pages. To remove the buttons from the pages on which you don’t want them to appear, just uncheck the “show sharing buttons” box on the edit screen for those pages.

It doesn’t work for me lizthefair – I keep doing it and saving changes adn getting increasingly frustrated… any ideas?

I have done EVERY single step as you have suggested and then when I look at my blog – no sharing buttons, logged out, logged back in, no sharing buttons, tried again, tried again, tried again…
Each time it says it has done it, but no joy – they simply don’t appear

Your username is unhelpfully linked to a blogspot.com site. I’m sorry but we cannot even begin to help any blogger who fails to provide the URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now. -

I imported my site from blogspot some time ago, perhaps I will go back.
I am in the middle of trying different themes which seem to make the share buttons appear on some posts. I suspect the issue may be with the Twenty Eleven theme. If I can fix then you will have no need to look at my blog.

Have changed themes and changed back – sharing buttons only appear on some posts despite me ticking box for all posts to have share buttons.
Have to admit to being mystified – perhaps I am doing something wrong?
Btw timethief – take a look at the bottom of the page where you will find this:

Each post has a box where sharing options can be turned on or off for just that post, and those settings override the main settings.
Could you go to the edit screen for one of the posts where the links aren’t showing up and check to see if the “show sharing buttons” box is checked? It should be close to the bottom of the page.

I’m not clear on why you would leap to the conclusion that asking you to link your username to the blog in question was impolite because clearly it wasn’t.You may want to confirm your show buttons setting on your sharing settings page here > Settings > Sharing
