forwarding from one WordPress url to another

  My organization set up two WordPress blogs: livermorevalleyeducationfound.wordpress.com, and livermorevalleyedfound.wordpress.com. The second blog replaced the first one. We kept both blogs alive until we were totally good with blog#2. We then deleted blog#1.

  Problem is, if you search for our organization name via search engine, the search result links to blog#1, which no longer exists.

  Is there a way to automatically forward from blog#1’s URL to blog #2’s?

  There is not, now that you have deleted it. If you’d left it you could have just bought the Redirect Upgrade which does exactly what you want.

  The old blog will lose googlejuice over time and the new one will gain it, so it’s a temporary issue.
