Forwarding URL doesn't work on individual posts

I forward bladeronner.com to my WP.com blog daredreamermag.com. The latter is actually a mapped domain.

If you go to bladeronner.com you’ll end up at my blog just fine. And until a month or so ago, permalinks to individual posts worked too (e.g. http://bladeronner.com/submit would automatically forward to http://daredreamermag.com/submit/)

But in early June I changed the domain registrar from GoDaddy to Domain.com and now permalinks no longer work. The top level domain forwards, but links to any other sub-web pages don’t). For the life of me I can’t figure out what’s wrong.

Any ideas? Does bladeronner.com need to be mapped also for this to work? I could have sworn that even after canceling the mapping for bladeronner.com (and switching it to daredreamermag.com) the forwarding to sub-pages still worked. Perhaps I’m mistaken though.

Bottomline: is this a domain.com issue or a WP.com one?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

If you had forwarding set up with your domain registrar for bladeronner.com, it’s possible that the domain forwarding changed when you switched domain registrars. This would be an issue with the domain registrar rather than WordPress.com.

However, I see that you just mapped your domain bladeronner.com to the WordPress.com blog that is using the domain daredreamermag.com. As long as both domains are mapped to the same blog, permalinks from bladeronner.com will be forwarded to your blog’s primary domain.

If you have any questions about this, please let me know!

Thanks for the reply Rachel. The domain mapping was the issue. Once I re-mapped bladeronner, everything was fine.
