Forwarding website to wordpress blog

  I want to forward my old website address to my wordpress blog. I’ve given the company hosting the old website the ip address of my wordpress blog for the purposes of forwarding but it is failing to work.

  Can anybody please help?

  What do you mean by “forward”? If you mean you have an existing domain you want o map to your WordPress.com blog from then you need to purchase a domain mapping upgrade and follow these instructions.
