  To manage your profile picture on WordPress.com we use Gravatar. Here are steps on how to upload a new profile picture on Gravatar:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/gravatars/#upload-an-avatar

  Your blog can also have a profile picture, which we call a Blavatar:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/
