    I´ve been very surprised – Found different kinds of Ads on my posts the last days in Google! What happened – just have a look at this copy (the last part of the blog called: Fachkräftemangel – woraus resultiert er?), unfortunately I`m not able to include a screenshot!

    WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. If you wish you can purchase and Ads-Off upgrade.

    No Ads

    I’ll just add this for you. The advertising can only be seen by you when you are logged out of wordpress.com, assuming it’s being displayed at the time you look for it. Also note that those readers who are using Firefox browsers with AdBlock Plus (46% of those surfing the web) cannot see advertising – that’s what the add-on is for.

    @indiaacademic
    Please read the information at the links I provide you with. This is the link I posted into the other thread. Information at it contains the answer to your question. > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you hire your own web host and set up your own wordpress.ORG install on your own domain you can run advertising. You cannot run blogger initiated advertising on a free hosted word pres.COM blog.

    The ads that wordpress occasionally runs on out blogs is what pays to keep this blogging service free. WordPress has to pay for all the servers and datacenters, wordpress has to pay for all the bandwidth, and wordpress has to pay all the bug hunters, theme team members and all the happiness engineers/support staff that keep this whole thing up and running.

    @indiaacademic your blog http://indiaacademic.wordpress.com/ looks to be just one long one size fits all advertisement for the web site linked in your name – I fail to see what adding a few more adds you get income for gets you ahead of what you are already doing- you have a free site that seems to have the sole reason of existence to drive traffic to a specific site.

    Hmmm, if that’s the case, the blog is short for this world so you won’t have to worry about putting ads on it.
