Frames around images

I have been trying to figure out how to have my images in gallery without a frame.
How do I get rid of those frames?
Once a user click on the image I would like to have the name, size and price on the buttom of the image
and I want my sidebar on every page of my site. I will be setting up the paypal button soon.

    Hi Teresa,
I do not see a frame around the image here Home Peaceful Serenity. I’m using Firefox 3.6.17 and IE8.
Which browser and version of it are you using please?
And what kind of a “frame” do you see? Is it gray or colored?

The frames I have are in the gallery in landscapes, seascapes, wildlife and the frames are whitesh gray.

Did the images you uploaded have transparent backgrounds? I’m wondering because this may be related to that.

I just uploaded an image and it had no frame so it is possible that they have a transparent background. I will delete the images and start over with it.

My second image: How would I add the price, size, etc., to the image after it is enlarged by the user. Also I want the sidebar to be on all pages as well.

You have to put that information right in the post. The image on a page is JUST an image, no text. I’d suggest you do one post per image.

The gallery function adds formatting, such as frames, around images. You are better served to add your images one by one into posts so you have control over how they look.

If you want to add info such as price, size, etc. to images opening in a new window, you could consider using attachment pages:
    http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/images-the-three-link-options/
But if you read that article, you’ll see that there are multiple complications with attachment pages.

As raincoaster says, it’s more efficient to make posts with 1 image and its info per post. You could then make an index page (not a post) to link to each image-post.
