framing my photos
-
hey there, can anyone advise me on how to add a simple frame to the photos i include in my postings? sometime when there’s a text wrap the text comes too close to the photo. it doesn’t look nice. surely theres a way to add a simple frame that would keep the text from being so close to the photo.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

i don’t know about frames, but you can always play with the margins on the image. i usually use a horizontal margin between 6 and 10, and I’m satisfied with the result.

Use margins as mentioned above to keep the text from jamming up against the photos. See the instructions here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=584&page&replies=34#post-118966

thanks, you guys. the margin thing doesn’t seem to work for me. i wonder if it has something to do with the browser i’m using. and i use the visual editor. this never works in safari. i only get slightly better results using firefox. i work on a mac, so that may complicate things even further.

The visual editor works fine (except for Safari – which is not compliant). But the code editor is sometimes necessary for advanced stuff. Another alternative is to use Windows Live Writer for writing posts. It includes the margin element.
