Franco banned from WordPress?

I wrote a blog the other day on my trip to Spain, in which we came across a commemorative plaque of Franco. I took a picture of this and wrote a short comment underneath.

Now, it has disappeared. Has it been taken down due to its nature or is this just a hitch?

    I hope the latter. Thanks.

sounds like a hitch to me. try checking your uploads page (dashboard -> manage -> uploads) and see if your picture is still there. if it is and you still can’t see it in your post, you could ask help from support. if it isn’t there, just upload it again.

WordPress.com doesn’t censor legal content. The problem you are experiencing is a known glitch with certain image files. We do not know what causes it, but the workaround I have found is to go to Uploads, find the image, click on Edit, grab the URL of the image, and put that in the correct spot in your blog. I use the Visual editor, so I put it in using the Image Icon, the tree. You can also put it in as HTML if you use the code editor.

The error should not recur; if it does, send staff a Support message.
