Fraudulent accounts

    My email was hacked this morning and used to create many fake wordpress accounts, blogs and websites. I don’t know the passwords. I reset the password on one, but I can’t figure out how to delete it. I want all accounts using this email deleted.

    Hi @twohorizonsart, that’s awful, I’m sorry. On our servers we see just one account and one Jetpack connection, so it would seem whoever is doing this is using another host to create WordPress.org instances. WordPress.org is free software, so it’s a bit different than our site hosting service.

    If you can find out who that host is (either with a command prompt or by using a site like this one), I’ll bet the host will be glad to help. Be sure to secure your email address in the meantime!
