  Hi there, Free sites are free forever; you do not need to add your credit card details to run a free WordPressdotcom website like workspacebullies.wordpress.com

  The only time you’d need to do that is if you purchase any of our upgrade plans and choose a custom domain. https://wordpress.com/pricing/ A custom domain is included in your first year upgrade, but you’ll pay for the domain renewal and plan renewal separately from the second year.
