  I’m starting my blog and I clicked the link that says ‘get started free’ yet I see I’m being billed $4 a month. Is WordPress free or not?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  At WordPress.com, there are four different plans. Of course, it also has a free plan, you can select it while setting up your website.

  Thanks for the reply. Yes that’s the page I start with but after entering the website data I’m presented with another plan page which does not include the free option

  Hello there, it looks like you’ve set up a free website at tomsworld804917842.wordpress.com

  If you click on the MY SITES link in the upper left corner of your screen you should reach your dashboard to manage your site.

  Let us know how that goes.

  Thanks so much! I was (obviously) confused. I think WordPress was just pointing me to the other payment options available.
