  Why am I being charged to set up a blogging site? I thought you can use a basic plan for free

  Even when I follow those links it gives me various plans options, none of them are free. I’d there a customer support center I could call?

  You have already added a plan and custom domain to your cart; you can delete those and keep the free site. To remove purchases from the cart, click on the trash bin icons here:
