  I have created a free blog under wordpress recently . I want to know if i can place ads on my blog like affiliate links. If i can when can i do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can’t run adverts from ad networks (like AdSense) on your site but as this support page says:

  Affiliate links are allowed on WordPress.com as long as the primary purpose of your blog is to create original content.

  It goes into a bit more detail so read the whole page to make sure what you’re trying to do is allowed.

  ya but is there any duration for the blog to be active and have minimum no.of visitors (ex. Google adsense policies are that blog has to be active for 6 months )
