free contact form giving out an email address?

  My mom has a free wordpress blog, i added a contact form (available in the page options) but it shows her email? why is it doing this? i just want to add a form where people can send her an email, but i dont want to give out her email. what can i do?

  You misunderstand. Log out and clear your cache and cookies. WordPress.com uses cookies to keep track of commenters so if someone makes a comment on your blog, the next time they come to your blog, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each others details.

  While we are at it … The Admin [edit] link appearing on the front of your blog is visible only to you when you are logged in. No one else can see it or use it. It’s for your convenience. Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies and view your site without logging in.
