Free Dara theme

  Hello, I do not know how to code and am using the free Dara theme for an organisation that does not have budget to upgrade. I have two questions:
  1. The featured content slider does not start with the home page image. How can I change this? From what I’ve read, clearing the cache would help, but do I need a plugin for that? Which leads me to …
  2. Does Dara allow any plugins at all?

  Hi bomake,

  The featured content slider does not start with the home page image.

  The featured slider has been added to your homepage — but the images displayed are featured images from each page you have chosen. This area is explained in more details under “Featured Content Slider” on the theme documentation page:

  https://wordpress.com/theme/dara

  If no featured slider is added, the featured image will be displayed instead. It’s not possible to display both so you will need to choose between one or the other.

  Does Dara allow any plugins at all?

  Custom plugins can be installed on sites using our Business plan. The ability to do so is dependent on the plan, rather than which theme you are using :)
